Filing with your insurance
Please note that Plymouth Family Physicians will file your claim with your insurance company using the current insurance information we have on file. This is why we ask you at EVERY VISIT to review and update your information.
There are times when a claim is filed and the insurance company denies payment. We will pursue these claims to the extent that is justifiable. Occasionally an insured person needs to contact the insurance company to have the claim reprocessed. Please understand that we make the balance owed your responsibility when your insurance company, despite all we have done, fails to pay your bill.
Ultimately, your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company, not between Plymouth Family Physicians and your insurance company.
